Early Years Practitioner

Full time, 40hrs per week

BRAND NEW DAY NURSERY NOW OPEN AT GODSTONE FARM!

Offering a unique environment and learning experiences for the children in our care,  our ethos is focused on outdoor learning, natural materials and resources and following a “child led” learning approach.  We are excited to announce that we have now opened our brand new 96 place day nursery at Godstone Farm in Surrey, and we are looking for experienced and confident Practitioners to join us working at this new, farm based setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • To support the day to day responsibility for the efficient running of the setting facility.
  • To ensure that developmental records for your key group are kept up to date.
  • To support your colleagues and work as part of a team in providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children. (Ages range from 6 weeks to 13 years dependent on setting).
  • To assist in the development of an attractive stimulating range of equipment, activities and displays relevant to the age and needs of the children in the setting, which encourage independence, self motivation and eagerness to learn.
  • To treat information of matters relating to the work within the setting as confidential.
  • To ensure the highest standards of safety, hygiene and welfare whilst maintaining adequate supervision of the conduct of the children attending the setting.
  • To ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times.
  • To help support the management team to ensure that the Ofsted standards including EYFS is followed at all times.
  • To support the management team in striving to deliver an outstanding setting
  • Any other duties that may be required.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for confident Practitioners, who are looking to get their teeth into a new challenge. You will be motivated to hit the ground running and add value to our fun and hard working team. You will thrive in a busy environment, and always be on hand with new ideas and activities.

You will be confident in all areas of the EYFS and implement accordingly, and have experience in a similar role. We are ideally looking for a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years for this position though would consider Level 2 qualifications.

You must be available full time, 40 hours per week.

Please note the nursery is open from 7:30am-6:30pm, Monday to Friday and so shift patterns will be rotating within these opening hours. Please make sure you can commit to early and late shifts before applying.

Trainee Early Years Practitioner

Godstone Farm Day Nursery focus on nature based play, and outdoor learning. We follow a child led curiosity approach to children’s development.

We have new vacancies available for full time, Unqualified Practitioners, who wish to train whilst working to earn their Early Years qualification. to join our new day nursery at Godstone Farm.

We are looking for passionate, inspiring Early Years Professionals who are looking to really make a difference! With a positive, can do attitude, a real team player, and keen to really engage making a difference to our children’s learning and development.

This full time, permanent position, will be working 40hrs per week, on various shift patterns between our opening hours of 7:30am-6:30pm.

We are looking for a Part time Nursery Assistants – Mornings and Afternoons, Monday to Friday.

Godstone Farm Day Nursery – Part of the Farm Day Nurseries group

Godstone Farm Day Nursery focus on nature based play, and outdoor learning. We follow a child led curiosity approach to children’s development.

We are looking for passionate, committed and reliable Nursery Assistants to join our lovely team of Early Years Practitioners to work on a part time basis.

 

We are looking for a Breakfast Assistant from 7:30am until 11:30am.

Your role will be to assist with and support the Early Years Practitioners with daily activities, then setting up and serving breakfasts in our nursery rooms.

We are ideally looking for someone who has previous experience working within an Early Years Setting.

Working in this unique environment, the role will be challenging and extremely rewarding !

We are looking for a Dinner Assistant from 2:30pm-6:30pm

our role will be to assist with and support the Early Years Practitioners with daily activities, then setting up and serving dinners in our nursery rooms.

We are ideally looking for someone who has previous experience working within an Early Years Setting.
