Dear Parents and Guardians,

The days maybe getting shorter, and the nights longers, but it’s still a wonderful time to get outside and enjoy the changing season. We love this time of year for kicking fallen leaves, finding conkers and watching squirrels get busy ahead of the winter with their acorns. In fact, it’s an ideal time for a nature trail scavenger hunt, or an afternoon spent collecting leaves and making a collage. We’ve suggested some activities to do at home below. Let us know what you enjoyed doing the most! We’ve also got some special days planned this month at the nursery – please take note of these dates for your diary.

– On Friday 20th October, your children can wear pink to mark Breast Cancer Awareness month.
– On Tuesday 31st October we’ll be celebrating autumn with pumpkin carving and dressing up too.

Thank you, the nursery team
